I've always been interested in research as well as day-to-day engineering design work. I believe that both serve an equally important role in society and the profession of engineering.

Mission

My mission is to use my career in structural engineering as a conduit to benefit the advancement of, not only the technical profession of engineering as a whole, but also to contribute to a greater social consciousness in society. I have a passion for sustainability and bio-inspiration and I actively look for ways that engineering, and my career in particular, can contribute to these fields. I strive to have a positive effect on people and society.

At its heart, engineering is about using science to find creative, practical solutions. It is a noble profession.
