I currently attend the University of Colorado Boulder as a Civil Engineering PhD graduate student studying bioinspired structures and living materials. I’m a licensed professional structural engineer and biomimicry professional with 12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, sustainable building and bridge design, and biomimicry research.  I also have experience studying and presenting topics on sustainable cities as well as researching sustainable methods of construction and presenting my findings at conferences.
